A New Man

This is the night before I cut it, it was hard to tame after a bath!

It was time, yet again to give Jake a hair cut. His hair grows SO fast. It seems like not to long ago it was getting in his eyes and I got up the guts to cut it. Too soon it got right back to where it was. I couldn't stand it anymore so I cut it and I cut a lot. Last time I just trimmed the front part that got in his eyes. This time the sides were getting long and puffy and hanging over his ears so he got a "real cut." I trimmed over his eyes, some of his neck and all of the top. I didn't really need to do the back b/c where his bald spot was is pretty short after growing back. It surprised me how much I liked it. I was afraid it would look too obvious or too grown up but he looks SO handsome. Now when his hair falls forward its not in his eyes. Jacob will be 10 months in a few days and the only thing that weirds me out is that its only 2 MONTHS away from being a year old. This was the fasted year of my life that is for sure. I have loved every minute of it, even the sleepless nights, teething fevers, and this new separation anxiety. I won't lie and say I never complained or cried b/c I felt so overwhelmed because my Mom and Cameron both know how often I do BUT the Joys of being Jakes Mom wouldn't be as sweet if I hadn't struggle a time or two (or 50.)
