Christmas Fun Stuff

We made "ginger bread", gram craker houses for FHE and I made Jacob's.

Jake is ALWAYS the center of attention with my family.

I was going to wait til we took Jake to see the lights at Temple Square to post pictures but we've been so busy we've haven't found time. Cameron is starting to get really busy at work since the snow has hit and he stays late a lot so we might not see the lights this year, sniff sniff. We have had so much fun getting ready for Jake's first Christmas. He loves to look at the lights on the Christmas tree and it was cute to have him help us decorate this year. Cam's cousin is getting married this Saturday so a lot of his extended family and his parents will be here and I'm really excited. We haven't spent a Christmas with his family since we've been married and I love spending the Holidays with LOTS of family. I'm excited for Cam's mom and dad to be here. They live in Indiana and we don't see them very much but I'm more excited for them to get to see Jake and for Jake to get to spend sometime with his other Grandparents. He has got crawling down! Which is so fun but still scary for me. We have 2 sets of stairs in the townhouse and so that means lots of baby gates. I have no doubts that he would have no fear with the stairs if we didn't block them off. He is fearless and so busy he would be down them in no time and it would most likely end in tears and a possible trip to the ER. Jake's tooth has FINALLY broken through after months and months of torturous teasing! He has also discovered how to make the clicking sound with his tongue, and he loves to give kisses. If we can get him to hold still long enough he will give us kisses if we ask for them. Big, open mouth, slobbery kisses! He hair is also getting alot lighter. I knew it would eventually, Cameron has blond hair and even though my color is ever changing the ashy roots still come through. He does still have one little dark patch by his neck that is still almost as dark as when he was born but the rest is getting pretty light.

We also celebrated Cam's birthday on the 3rd. We had a yummy dinner at Cam's favorite resturant, Outback, with his siblings and spouses. I will admit I was kind of a grump from major lack of sleep (thats a another blog in its self!!!) but we still had a good time. Than we had a good Roast dinner with my family on Sunday. I can't believe Cameron is 27!! WHOA thats old, haha.
